It is a very important archeological city.

The old town is characterized by Piazza Grande,
which can be accessed throught via Torresin and the clock tower,
which is the symbol of the city. It was an important economic
and administrative center during the Ancient Roman era for a long period
of time since the end of the X century. C. until VII sec. d. C.
